Samson is three years old, weighs 53 pounds and is a Samoyed mix. He is an extremely smart young man, having grasped the concept of potty training very quickly and enjoying his new life as an indoor dog. Walking on a leash was a bit of a challenge at first, but long walks with his foster family are quickly teaching him not to pull on the leash. He also gets along with the other dogs in his foster home, all of whom are bigger than he is; however, he is not a "cat person" and should probably not go to a home with either cats or smaller dogs. He is also an excellent companion on car rides, sitting quietly in the back seat and gazing out the window, enjoying the view. Samson is just now discovering the bliss of being petted and loved, and we want to find him a forever home where he can continue to get the affection and attention he so deserves and desires.
