Kaci is a beautiful "silver" Sammy (a term we use for our older dogs).  A series of tragic events made it impossible for her to remain with her heartbroken former owner, and she is now looking for a special "someone" with whom to live happily ever after.

Kaci has been lovingly and well cared for throughout her nine years. She is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm-free and on preventative, spayed and is in excellent health, with no mobility or other issues. She's a quiet girl who is house trained and walks well on a leash. Kaci is not overly fond of car rides, but she willingly jumps into the car and  is a quiet and good driving companion who prefers to stretch out on the back seat for the trip. She tolerates the cats in her foster home by ignoring them, and she gets along with most other dogs.

A home where she can be cherished is all that Kaci needs to make her life complete. We believe she would do best in a quiet household without young children.
